Passport visa & plane ticket will be considered as the entry pass for staying at the Ashkona Hajj-camp dormitory. For the Hajj travelers of any agency. This was announced in a signed letter by Dhaka Hajj Office Director Md. Saiful Islam. The initiation was taken in order to ensure quality Hajj management.
Though, a Hajj agency owner mentioned that, visa related complexity cannot determine one’s visa finalization date. Therefore, everyone is not receiving visa at the same time. They are even failing to send same group of Hajj-travelers together at the same time. On top of this, this order-announcement may make the Hajj-travelers to hassle even more.
Probable Hajj date is 1 September, depending on moon’s visibility. 1.27 lacs will be traveling this year. Out of them, only 5 thousand will be traveling via government management. Rest via private agents.
