Dangerously expert IT circles are operating at the malls in the city. Including at Farmgate, Eastern Plaza, Motaleb Plaza & many others. They are able to change IMEI number of a mobile & totally make it untraceable even by the law-implementing organizations or the mobile operators. Only within 30 minutes of snatching!
Snatchers & hijackers circles have existed forever in the Dhaka City. But the modernization of the technologies made it hard for them hide anymore. Any mobile can be tracked with its IMEI number with satellite, even when switched off. Even if the snatcher sold it to someone, the mobile could be retrieved by this process.
But these snatching circles have found ways to overcome that technological barrier as well. Hence, the snatchers & hijacker circles are emerging again, with dangerous IT skills.
