Tesla is very famous in the international market for making electric cars. Recently Tesla launched their new model 3 vehicle which is the cheapest one of them. Last Friday, the first 30 customers and most of their employee received the car. Elon Musk the chief executive said it is best for its cost. $35000 is the starting price of this car. But it is still higher than Nissan Leaf which starts at $30,680 and the Hybrid Chevrolet Volt which goes for $34,095.
Before this model Tesla had model “S” and model “X” which was at the starting price of $80,000. The company expects 5,000 units for 2017 and 10,000 units for 2018 in a week. The company is very confident about it because of more than half million customers already placed their deposits.
If this company can successfully hold the market, it has a chance to outdo BMW, Mercedes and Lexus in US.
