Anti-Corruption Commission (Dudok) Hotline – 106, have been receiving thousands of calls per day, since its opening on Thursday afternoon. Some of the calls proving to be very important. Accuser’s identities were kept anonymous.
Dudok Public Relations Officer Pronab Kumar gladly mentioned that, they have received two-thousand complaints on their first day. 55 of those were taken under consideration. Dudok is keeping records of all the complaints and sorting them out at the end of the day. It had been hard to keep exact count of complaints.
The hotline meant to establish a direct connection with the people & in order to collect data-evidences faster. So far, they have received great responds. The considered had been reported to the commissioners for investigation permission, mentioned Dudok Complaint Center Manager Selina Akhter Moni.
Dudok Chairman Iqbal Mahmud said, corruption is the biggest problem of country. All of us need to be determined & unite against it.
The hotline can be called with any kind of phones or mobiles and it’s totally free. The caller identity will be always kept confidential.
