Fate’s Tale- Gohiner Jolchap wins title in USA

    Our Time Correspondent:Fate’s Tale- Gohiner Jolchap won the Best Short film Award in International Film Festival Manhattan-2017. The film was announced for the accolade on October 18 at the kick off and prize giving ceremony held in the Philippine Center of New york, USA. Khandakar Sharmin, who wrote the story of the film, received the award on behalf of the “Fate’s Tale” team. The film premiered for the first time at the Philippine Center on 20th October. The film competed with films submitted from 15 countries around the world including Philippine, South Korea, Canada and France. Made under the banner of Bengal Studio Ink, the film was directed by Sadia Afrin (Chandra Bindu). Kamal Chandra Das captured the film and Amzad Hossain worked as the executive producer of the film. Kanak Aditya and Shubho directed the background score. The only song in the film was sung by singer Salma Akter. Khandakar Sharmin wrote the lyrics of the track, which was later composed by Durjoy Ferdous.
