8, 01,711 HSC passed students will be fighting for 6, 66, 874 seats in 37 public universities & 92 private universities, all over the country. Hence, admission possibility is uncertain for 1, 34, 837 students in comparison.
Though an Education Ministry employee assures that, placing the admission interested students into universities, won’t be a problem. Since, it is generally expected that many will get involved in business or other forms of work. A big number of HSC graduates admit into technical institutions every year. Many will go abroad as well.
Most of the universities already have announced their probable admission dates. Dhaka & Jagannath University will hold exams consecutively in the morning & afternoon, or vise-versa, on 15 July. BUET on 14 October, CUET on 21 October, RUET on 17 November & KUET on 20 October. All these universities already have updated their websites regarding the admission procedures.
