Dudok Concerned About Traditional Tender Process

    Traditional tender process is a major source for corruption in Bangladesh, claimed Dudok Chairman Iqbal Mahmud. At the seminar between Dudok & Bangladesh Competition Commission (BCC). Dudok Chairman suggested to use e-tender process. Also, negotiation steps should be only done under certain set of rules, he added. Dudok urged BCC to coordinate with them, in order to ensure tender fairness.
    Only proper competition can ensure better quality products at reasonable prices, he said. Such environment will prevent over pricing of goods. Meantime, BCC Chairman Iqbal Khan Chowdhury asked for Dudok’s help. Since, BCC is a very new organization and they seek guidance from Dudok’s years of investigative & technological experience. BCC wants to propose of an official memorandum to Dudok.
    Iqbal Khan also mentioned that, a group of culprits are trying to get easily rich by increasing the price of onion & rice. BCC aims to interrupt their activities.
