Rohingyas are flooding the borders of Cox’s Bazar for the fear of their lives. Meantime, bringing countless transmittable diseases, warned Health & Family Planning Officer Dr. Misbah Uddin.Among these, Malaria, Cholera & AIDS are most rampant. Already 24 Rohingyas were tested HIV positive. All of them are expected to have brought it from Myanmar. Wide HIV testing will be conducted, said Civil Surgeon Dr. Abdus Salam at the seminar on Cholera vaccination initiative at the Rohingya camps. This issue is posing to be a great health risk for the people of Bangladesh. HIV virus is a highly transmittable, through blood donation & sexual relations.
