Garments workplace development combined initiatives Accord-Alliance made a deal to conduct their work in Bangladesh till 31 May of 2018. Labor Ministers & Commerce Minister, BGMEA & top leaders of FBCCI sat for a meeting with the, ILO, Industrial & Uniglobal delegates, to discuss about related terms. Alliance has declared that, they will be leaving on time. Accord was given 6 months more for leaving preparations. Accord already reached 80% of their goals and assures to complete the rest by 7 May. During this 6 months’ extension, they will be known as Transitional Accord. Minister of Commerce & Industries, Tofael Ahmed talked about the success of these initiatives that, 70 green-factories are already running. 280 will start soon. On average of 15 crores taka were spent for the modernizing each garments industry.
