    Middle-class families are struggling due to the price hikes. 70% of their income goes into paying house rent. Then, they have to pull through rest of expenses with fixed income, said Garments Labor Union Federation President Mosharefa Mishu. Thus, the lives of the laborer & daily-workers have become even more miserable.Price of the daily-goods have increased by 10-100% in past 7 months. Rice price doubled. Salt price increased by 50%. Average price of vegetables raised from 15 taka to 25 taka. Green chilies’ price increased by shockingly 700%!
