DOT Desk: A schoolgirl was allegedly killed after violation in Gabtola village in Ashashuni upazila of Satkhira, reports The Daily Observer.
Deceased Sushmita was the daughter of Proshanto Das. She was a student of class III of Gabtola Government Primary School. When Sushmita became senseless, he threw her into a pond.
Local people recovered Sushmita’s body from the pond around 11pm and informed police.
Police, however, detained Joydeb in this connection.
Ashashuni Police Station OC Biplob Kumar Nath said the body was sent to Satkhira Sadar Hospital morgue.
