11th parliamentary election is the most acceptable election in the history of Bangladesh

Awami League President and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina said that she believes in democracy and will accept the people’s mandate. Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina yesterday urged all to make sure that parliamentary polls were not questionable in any way. “All the people will have to watch out so that no one can make the elections questionable in any way. The candidates, leaders and workers of the Awami League and Mohajote [grand alliance] will have to keep patience in this regard. Awami League thanked EC and people for holding a peaceful and fair election. In this regard, Ambassador Waliur Rahman said that the party president has rightly shared her observations. This 11th parliamentary election has been held in a free, fair and transparent atmosphere. This is perhaps the most kind of acceptable election in the history of Bangladesh held with enormous enthusiasm and huge amount of expectation of people. This will eventually bring more economic benefit to the country and the most significant aspect of this election is after 1973, this is the first fully participatory election.
