Desk Report: Ever since ‘Debi’ was announced, it has intrigued the Bengali movie lovers, especially those who are a big fan of Bangladeshi writer Humayun Ahmed. The upcoming thriller brings the iconic fictional character Misir Ali to the big screen for the first time, reports The Daily Asian Age.
The interesting teaser and a series of posters from the film has already left the movie buffs in awe and now another poster from ‘Debi’ was shared where Chanchal Chowdhury as the titular character Misir Ali looks every bit intriguing. Initially the film, directed by Anam Biswas, was supposed to release on September 7 but later the release date was pushed back to October. The exact date hasn’t yet been released.
For the uninitiated, ‘Debi’ not only revolves around Misir Ali but also Ranu, a woman who often feels a paranormal existence around her and can even see the future.
