Humayun Kabir: Finance Minister AMA Muhith hinted that the next parliamentary election is likely to be held in December 27 this year.
The Awami League leader made the comment while responding to a query after meeting with Sylhet City Corporation mayor Ariful Haque Chowdhury at the Secretariat yesterday, reports The Daily Star.
The current cabinet will be dissolved three months before the schedule of election and a small cabinet will be formed, Bangla daily Prohom Alo quotes him as saying.
However, the current parliament will continue, he said.
