Dr. Syed Anwar Husain, Professor of History Department, DU : The discrimination in the tuition fees of Dhaka University’s (DU) regular evening courses is induced to the administration. This is odd, unwanted and unfair.
A tremendous diversity is observed in the overall education system of Bangladesh. According to the Section 17 of our constitution, the country’s education system is supposed to be one-way.
But today there is a versatile education system in the country which is a clear violation of the constitution by the government itself. Just like that, there are differences in several aspects of this sector which can only be explained by the government.
Since they don’t have a system, anyone is being able to charge as much tuition fees as they wish. Again, this is unwanted and unfair because the masses face discrimination.
