Sofian Khan: Popular small screen actress Tazin Ahmed has passed away at a Dhaka hospital yesterday.
Confirming the news, General Secretary of Artists’ Association, Ahasn Habib Nasim said the actress breathed her last around 4:40 pm at Regent Hospital in Uttara.
According to her family sources, the celebrated artiste of the 90’s suffered a cardiac arrest at her residence around 12 noon. She was rushed to the hospital where she was kept on life support for several hours and eventually died.
Actor Rawnak Hasan said, “We came to the hospital as soon as we were informed about her illness. Doctors confirmed her death a few moments ago.”
Earlier, Nasim said, “She (Tazin Ahmed) is at the last stage. We yet can’t confirm anything. We’re still discussing about taking the last attempt for an ECG in 220 volts. The report is still in blue.
