I’m satisfied with this year’s SSC results. The average pass rate of SSC and its equivalent examinations this year is 77.77% in all 10 education boards. The success rate was 80.35% last year. But the number of GPA-5 achievers increased this year with 1,10,629 candidates securing the highest grade points, whereas the figure stood at 1,04,761. It’s an essence to get GPA-5 in the first board examination of one’s life, but they should carry it on for the rest of his or her life. The results will encourage students. If they fail to continue the momentum in the HSC exams and university entry tests, their SSC exam evaluation will be questionable. So it will be normally questioned that whether the GPA-5 was given following a proper way or the exam paper assessment was correct. In madrasa board, the percentage point was 70.89% and vocational education board saw a 81.96% pass rate. Vocational education might have registered a better result. The government must focus more on education system, syllabus and the eligibility of teachers at madrasas. So emphasizing on vocational education is a must now. Man power is one of the main upsides for us. We are going through democratic dividend. We are proceeding towards a newer world and emerging as a developing country, coming out of the low-middle income country’ status. Technical education has to be given due importance. Manpower is out lone force. We are going through a democratic dividend. So we need to highlight more on this, only to have the momentum going keeping in line with the outer world.
