According to State Minister for Public Administration Ismat Ara Sadique, over 3.59 lakh posts in different government services have been lying vacant along with different ministries. It is assured that necessary steps have been taken to fill up the vacant posts. But that doesn’t include any plan for increasing the age limit for recruitment in public service – The Daily Star. According to her, recruitment for vacant posts in government offices is a continuous process. Every government facilities keeps up with this according to their respective recruitment rules. The state minister while reasoning said that many reasons are responsible for the government with their incapability to employ in many vacant posts and one reason is due to litigations. The recruitment process got stopped because of filing cases. This is the reason the appoint process got little delayed, said Ismat Ara Sadique adding the fact that the Government was Trying to Expedite the Recruitment Process.
