Road transport and bridges minister Obaidul Quader said that it is the Myanmar government who are responsible for the rohingya crisis and they have to solve it.
He also said Bangladesh want to solve this problem in a diplomatic way. Quader, also general secretary of ruling Awami League, was speaking while receiving 5000 units of solar panel from Alamma Fazlullah Foundation for Rohingyas a Cox’s Bazar hotel yesterday, his senior information officer informed in a press release.
The minister also said the government had managed the crisis primarily. Minister Obaidul Qader also thanked and praised the people of Ukhiya and Teknaf for their patience and sacrifice for Rohingyas. Later the minister distributed reliefs among Rohingyas in Kutupalong and Balukhali camp in Ukhiya.Al Joint Secretary Mahbubul Alam Hanif, Jahangir Kabir Nanok, Aseq Ullah Rafiq MP, Organizing Secretary A F M Bahauddin Nasim, A K M Anamul Haque Shamim, Relief and Welfare Secretary Sujit Roy Nandi, Deputy Press Secretary Barrister Biplob Barua, among others, were also present at the occasion.
