The summon comes after the sacked Catalan leader in a public speech in Brussels urged EU to intervene in the secession crisis. In the summon, High court also ordered them to cover potential liabilities by paying a deposit of $7.2m.Catalan’s civil servant joined to work under central government which imposed direct rule without any major disruption that led to recrimination. Secessionists admitted that after five days of independence declaration it seemed to be failed. Though puigdemont told supporters to be prepared for a ‘long stretch’ and better to ‘slow down’ the process of independence rather taking risk of unrest.
