PM Thanks UNESCO GD

    Banga-badhu’s Speech of 7th March has been officially acknowledged as a historic document for the UNESCO’s ‘Memory of the World Register’. This is the first piece of Bangladeshi record that, will be officially & permanently secured there.
    The chairman & leader of the Bangladesh UNESCO National Commission team, Nurul Islam Nahid called the PM from the 39th UNESCO General Conference at UNESCO HQ, on yesterday. To relay this great news. He was also chosen as the Vice President of this conference, in Paris. Honorable Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed her deep gratitude toward the team that representing Bangladesh in the UNESCO conference. Meantime, she specially thanked UNESCO General Director Irina Bokova for including Bangabandhu’s speech as the 427th document in the Memory of the World Register.
