BNP Chairperson Begum Khaleda Zia urged the government to put more effort on diplomacy rather than just condemning the Myanmar government and showing sympathy on the Rohingyas. Khaleda said this after distributing relief to Rohingyas at Moynargona camp in Ukhiya upazila in Cox’s Bazar yesterday afternoon. She said, Bangladesh is already a small country with over population, still sheltering the Rohingyas escaping the violence in Myanmar for the sake of humanity. And many NGO’s have stepped forward to help but it’s not possible to continue forever. Regarding the attack on motorcade, Khaleda blames the government saying, “we were coming here to provide aid to Rohingyas while in the middle of the road they attacked our convoy and left many journalists injured”. Already government know the identity of the attackers, reports have been published in media about them, she further said.
