A discussion meeting was held at the end of the special rally on the occasion of Community Policing Day-2017 under the initiative of Armed Police Battalion (APBN) Headquarter in Uttara. Under the initiative of Armed Police Battalion Headquarter on 28 October 2017 ‘Police is public-Public is police’ this slogan was put in front of the special rallies and meetings on the occasion of Community Policing Day-2017. Armed Police Battalion School students and APBN Officers and Forces participated and hold banners and placards. As part of the program on Community Policing Day-2017, public cooperation was sought to prevent militancy, drug abuse, eve-teasing, crime prevention, maintenance of law and order and to stop women and child abuse. Special Rally and Meeting and 5 APBN’s President Farooq Ahmed and 1 APBN’s Captain Khandaker Faridul Islam, 11 APBN’s Captain Shahina Amin, 8 APBN’s Captain Mohammad Rashidul Islam Khan along with other Senior Offices were present. President Farooq Ahmed thanked everyone for participating in the rally and meeting and promised to build a beautiful society by reducing the distance between the police and the public by creating mutual trust, reconciliation and mutual respect.
