Authorities are using this strategic excuse in order to reduce cultural activities, by issuing this order, claim artist Kamal Pasha. Security shouldn’t shorten the reach of cultural activities. Most are busy during the daytime. Even students have to attend classes till dusk. There is an anti-cultural syndicate working behind implementing this order, he added. TSC authorities recently issued a notice that instructs to end all sorts of activities around Dhaka University Teacher-Student Center (TSC) premises. But, for special reasons the time limit can be extended up to 11pm with application.There are over 30 cultural groups involved in arranging events. Many criminals often falsely allege to belong to one of such groups & get away easily.The decision was taken after multiple discussions & warning from the detectives & law-enforcement, claim authorities.
