Though, 261 crores corps will be globally harvested during 2017-18 fiscal year. Still, with little more extra than last year, this amount wouldn’t be enough to hold the past year’s price. This simultaneously affected the markets of the countries Bangladesh imports food from as well. Within only 3 months, importing price for rice from India has increased by 100 dollars. Thus, aiding the rice market’s price hike. Fortunately, food-oil, dairy products, sugar & few other food products’ price remain about the same.
