Secretaries at the Health Ministry are very irritated about the recent increase of ‘Transfer Lobbying’. Also for the fact that, it is turning into a bad culture. Including, nurse-doctors & employee-officers are always crowding the ministry office corridors. Health Minister Md. Nasim noticed that, such crowding is highly inconvenient for his ministry employees and their productivity. Hence, he decided to ban all kinds of Transfer Lobbying. Health Minister’s announcement was published from the office of his personal Additional-Secretary Khaja Abdul Hannan. Copies of this announcement were sent to General Directors of all the health institutes. Including all the Directorate Generals of Health Services, Family Planning & Drug Administration, and Nursing & Midwifery Council. Every professor, civil surgeon, district director and other officers received the order-letter too. The order mentions any Transfer Lobbying at the health ministry to be a punishable act by ‘Employee Rules 1986’. Rather, the minister suggested to contact via letters, e-mail & telephone.
