Detecting a strange radio signal from a Little Star

A strange radio signal is received from A Star which is located just 11 Light-years away. No planet was found surrounding a little- explored red star. Researchers told that it was coming from Ross 128. They suspected that these signals were picked up in ‘almost periodic’ burst and needed more investigation to clarify the exact source.

They detected the radio signal by using a large radio telescope called Arecibo Observatory in Puerto Rico.

The signal had been sent by the aliens but they were not sure why the SETI groups were concerned about the signal said Professor Abel Méndez, an astrobiologist at the University of Puerto Rico.

He also mentioned that this signal might have come from an orbiting satellite.

But in his personal blog he said, ‘we have never seen satellites emit bursts like that.’
