National Wages and Productivity Commission (NWPC) of Bangladesh have not finalized salary-report for industrial employees. Labor-employee leaders of 5 industrial sectors, Sugar & Food, Forest, Steel, Jute & Chemical industry corporations, gathering in order to make their voices heard and to find a possible solution.
New pay-scale for all the governmental employees, were in-effect from 2015. Therefore, NWPC was formed in 2016, to set new & just pays for industrial employees as well. But, over a year has passed, NWPC have nothing yet to show for. Labor-employee federation leaders are urging for true & timely justification.
But, NWPC Member Shukkur Mahmud is claiming that, NWPC already has sent the final papers to the higher authorities for inspection. It is soon to be announced after all the official formalities & paper-works.
