Trying to get 3 Lacs US Dollars funding for the welfare of the garments workers from the United States Congress, announces US Congressman and US-Bangladesh Congressional Committee Co-Chairperson Grace Meng. At a seminar event discussing the leading issues about Trump’s extremist mentality towards the immigrants. She called for every immigrant communities including Bangladeshis to unify against such injustice.
It was a ceremony event for welcoming new committee members (2017-18) of the America-Bangladesh Press Club. The luxurious event was held at the Laguardia Plaza Hotel in Elmhurst, New York. Many prominent persons were present. They also arranged a beautiful cultural event for the guests.
