Messi was banned during their qualifier match against Chile in March for misbehave with the assistant referee, on based of an incident. Messi has alrady missed a match with Bolivia and defeat with 2-0. He will also unable to play against Uruguay, Venezuela and Peru. This decision effect a lot to the whole team and the Coach Edgardo Bauza was fired after the defeat.
FIFA’s appeal committee said his behavior was blamable. However the evidence was not
enough as the standard, in that incident which was missed by the match officials.
However, the Appellate Committee always understands the importance of paying tribute to match officials, indicating that this policy is essential for football.
