At some point of our lives or the other, we have had to or will have to host parties/ gathering also known as ‘dawaat’ and of course none of us want to be “that bad host who messed up”.
    1.Make Your Place “fragile-proof” :
You don’t want adults or children running into or coming across a light-weighted fragile vase which falls and breaks and a scene is created. This leads to the party-vibe getting affected and of course the extra hassle of cleaning up and the guests feeling guilty from breaking your precious thing. Avoid the whole mess by removing all easily breakable stuff to create more free space for people to wall around and mingle without breaking anything.
    2.Be aware of food restrictions:
When you are inviting people over and serving them food, it is your responsibility first to find out if any one has any allergies and dietary preferences. You do not want to provide dishes which people do not like either. Even if just one person can eat NONE of the dishes, then you fail as a host big time. Make different dishes with different elements to be able to attend to all sorts of tastes of everyone. Some common things to take care of might be faith-based food restrictions, vegetarians, vegans, gluten-intolerant, dairy-free, egg-free etc.
    3.Keep a safe place:
People will come with bags and other valuables which they might want to keep hanging onto the whole time. Hence you have to arrange for a safe and secure place where you can store them safely.
4.Be the life of the party:
It is your party so you will know everyone you invited and it is your duty to introduce the guests to each other and be the ice melter. Arrange for games and other activities so that everyone gets a neutral chance of talking to everyone while having fun.
    5.Keep your cool:
Being calm during the whole thing is extremely necessary since it is a day where many things will not go according to how wanted to go but you still cannot just cancel the party. Keep calm and enjoy!
