An unidentified woman was killed on the spot after a passenger bus crushed her at Hajirhat point on the Panchagarh-Dhaka highway on the outskirts of the city on Monday, police sources said.
The accident occurred when a Panchagarh bound passenger bus from Dhaka hit the woman, aged about 60, while she was crossing the road. She was killed on the spot at around 12 pm.
