We have all been through that terrible phase where we dated a guy who takes more selfies than us and we wondered who the man in the relationship was. Well, worry no more because yours truly is here to tell you about the signs that you should have an eye out for in case you are suspecting that your guy is gay!
• THE BATHROOM HOGGER: I know I sound like one of those stereotypical people right now, but it is actually very true and even scientifically proven! A long bathroom ritual is one of the best tell-tales. Gay men tend to spend a long time getting ready in the bathroom.
• Their favorite TV shows: Oh c’mon, you must have watched enough American sitcoms to know that gay men love watching Sex and the City and Project Runway. Gay men love their drama and popular shows that have iconic gay characters in them (Modern Family ring a bell?).
• The darting eyes: We want to say that our men only have eyes on us but let’s face it- men cannot help but check out other women in public. But a gay man….uh huh you guessed it right- they just do not look at women in a sexual way.
• Articulate compliments: The most you can expect from guys is the usual “you look good” or “you look pretty hot”. However, a gay man will make sure you know exactly what they like about your outfit. You can expect to go “hmm girl, I love those shoes and I love how you’re rocking that scarf girlll”
