Well of course it is, what else could it possibly be? That isn’t what the iPad team and marketers are thinking and saying though! At the unveiling of the new, faster, normal sized iPad Pro last week, Apple marketing chief Phil Schiller said that it was sad that over 600 million people still use PCs that are over 5 years old and those people could really benefit from owning an iPad Pro. Our question is how you can even dream of comparing a PC to the iPad. A PC can run full versions of Photoshop, Microsoft Office, Final Cut and so many more necessary applications; you can organize files and folders on your desktop and open multiple tabs and type on actually keys. You can even plug in peripherals like keyboard, a mouse, flash drives, etc. A Microsoft PC actually allows you to run all things Microsoft on it. Now Apple has been taking steps to make itself more like a PC, back in November it launched its colossal iPad Pro with a folding cover keyboard that looks a lot like Microsoft’s hardware, you can even spilt the screen into 2 halves but the problem is that the interface is hidden and hard to find. It has further released a new adapter that allows you to plug in all sorts of interesting PC gadget. So with just these few points covered how can the iPad even hope to cover the massive performance and stamina level of a PC? We hope the Apple team will think a bit more on their promotional strategy next time rather than blurting out whatever comes to their minds on the spot.
