Microsoft’s most recent technological masterpiece is on its way to hit the consumer market. The company has already started to ship out the product that can be considered pivotal to technological revolution.
Unlike HTC Vibe, Oculus Rift or Playstation VR which create an artificial environment for the user to be immersed in, the Hololens actually integrates your holograms into your surroundings. The users of the Hololens can control their surroundings using “air tap” which involved using your hands to make gestures, and it makes you feel as if the icons are actually tangible.
Microsoft has been collaborating with NASA in order to create “Destination: Mars” which allows the user of the Hololens to feel as if he is in the red planet among the debris and they’ve even added a guide designed after Buzz Aldrin.
The “Destination: Mars” project will be available for use at the Kennedy Space Centre Visitor Complex in Florida, owned by NASA. The users seem to be extremely interested in this product as this was one of the biggest attractions in Microsoft’s annual developer’s Build in San Francisco.
