It is essentially a luxury cruise liner which offers 165 complete private apartment complexes on board its vast 644 feet vessel and best of all it travels nonstop. The World is the only ship at sea that boasts of private homes which range from 6 bedroom penthouses to studio apartments. 130 people across the world claim ownership of these luxury houses and count yourself lucky if you hear of a listing where one is up for sale!
This 12 deck ship has everything a well endowed community would have; 6 restaurants, a tea room, a golf simulator, multiple bars, a cinema, a library and even a 7000 square foot spa and recreational space. The ship is managed by ROW Management Ltd. based in Florida. The residents may stay for as long as they like and are in charge of the ships itinerary. The World was first imagined by Knut U Kloster Jr. who had been thinking of building such a vessel since 1997.
