Members of Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) arrested two people along with 800 grams of heroin from Rajpara area in Sadar upazila on Wednesday night.
Rab said in a press release, acting on a tip-off, a team of the elite force conducted a drive in the area and arrested Shamsuddin,50, son of Altaf Hossain of Rajapara village, and Rahim,40, son of Kachimuddin Biswas of Charharispur village in Sadar upazila, at about 10:30 pm while they were staying there to sell heroin.
A case was filed in this connection.
