Special Security Force (SSF) received another series of modern security technology upgrade for sake of government-announced VIPs’ protection. Including different range of jammers, special shield, operational cars, mobile command posts, biometric access control, mm microwave body scanner and others. These information were collected from the recent archives of PM Office & Fiance Ministry.
This was a rapid upgrade process due to increasing number of threats against the government-VIPs such as the President, the PM and others. Last leashed 62.76 crores taka for these intensive upgrades of SSF. Also, total of 109 crores taka were leashed for the police & other security aspects.
These newly added security technologies not only will fortify the systems. But also will make the procedures more efficient, accurate & time-saving, said Police HQ AIG Soheli Ferdous.
