Waterlogging is a big seasonal issues. Especially is the cities. Despite of multiple divisions with separate duties. There should be a singular authority to manage mange it & come up with a long-term masterplan. DSCC Mayor Sayeed Khokon mentioned these while attending a blood-donation event for the 15 August Morning Day. 20 no. Ward-Councilor Farid Uddin Ahmed arranged the event at the Shegunbagicha High School on Sunday.
Sayeed Khokon said that, none has control over the weather. But we are taking initiatives to make sure the water from the heavy-rainfall clears out & drains away from the streets faster, with proper planning.
Sayeed Khokon also added that, Bangladesh is becoming a role model by the strong leadership of Bangabandhu Daughter Sheikh Hasina. But there are still ill-group conspiring against the sovereignty & the peace of Bangladesh. He warned everyone to be careful & united against any odds.
