Supreme Court Building At Risk: Chief Justice Government Assures Of Renovation Funding In Next Budget

    The Supreme Court Building is at high risk of falling apart. Water leakage has become a common problem. But they are unable to do proper renovation due to lack of funding.
    Chief Justice Surendra Kumar Sinha requests to Anisul Haque, hence the government to take care of this issue. He urged to increase the budget allocation for the Law & Justice Division.
    Finance Minister was informed about this on 29 July. He mentioned that, funding will be separately allocated for Supreme Court Building renovation in the next budget.
