Transportation analysts are struggling to figure out any solution to leash the overly-increasing traffic jam. To them it seems, the ways to reducing traffic jam in Dhaka are only narrowing down. Traffic Department says, traffic has multiplied in this Ramadan and they are unable to control so much traffic. On top of the summer’s heat, traffic-jams are becoming more & more intolerable to the citizens.
Experts complain that, none of the Technical Traffic Plans of 2005 were successfully implemented. Also, mega-city plans are exponentially increasing the traffic problems day by day.
Traffic Department is requesting for more manpower besides technical supports to handle traffic-jam during the pick hours.
