BNP cheated people by not joining parliament

Sajeeb Sarker speaks to DOT :
BNP won a handful of seats in the December 30 election and has a significant number of supporters. Considering the supporters, it should go to the House. The party must act responsibly as the representative of its voters.
It must keep going to the parliament until its representatives’ membership is scrapped. BNP can speak the same thing inside the parliament what it does outside. If it fails, BNP can walkout of the House. In that case, they will have the ground to speak before the press about their debacle.
BNP alleges that the last general election was not held freely and it was not even acceptable. These are the reasons for the party refraining from going to the parliament by terming the election illegal.
BNP supporters cast their ballots for the party. But if the party’s candidates who won from respective constituencies do not got the parliament, it will not be different from cheating them. BNP must clear its stance over the issue.
If the party sticks to its decision, its elected candidates must resign, or else they have to take oath as lawmakers to represent BNP in the House.
