Netrokona Dirstict Bar election held

Sustir Sarker, Netrokona Correspondent: Netro- kona district’s lawyer’s organization Netrokona Dirstict Bar elected representatives of the next year through direct voting. Advocate Sitangshu Bikash Acharya as the President and General Secretary Advocate Aminul Huq Khan Mukul was elected as the Convener of 17 posts. Yesterday (24/01/2019) the voting starts peacefully from 9am and continuously begins till 4pm. 9 o’clock in the counting of votes and publishing full results. 272 voters present in 288 voters. Presidential Candidate Advocate Sitangshu Bikash Acharya .got 154 votes, his nearest rival Advocate Amirul Islam got 68 votes. General Secretary candidate Advocate Aminul Haque Khan Mukul received 143 votes, his nearest rival Advocate Saiful Asan Manju got 124 votes. Among the selected candidates, 10 Awami League leaders, including BNP secretary general and nine other BNP leaders. Advocate Nadiruzzaman Fakir was the chief election commissioner.
