When children don’t listen to father

BNP has allied with Dr Kamal’s Gono Forum in the recently formed political platform, Jatiyo Oikya Front (JOF) and BNP has also partnered with the war crimes accused fundamentalist party Jamaat-e-Islami under the umbrella of 20-party alliance. Many of Jamaat’s leaders are convicted of crimes against humanity in the Liberation War of 1971. The BNP-Jamaat alliance is also accused of attacks on minorities after coming to power in 2001.
Dr. Kamal Hossain, the chief of JOF; appeared before this election as a political chaperon and advocated for a free & fair election. However, it is heard in public that BNP has used this legend, Dr. Kamal Hossain; for its own benefit and for securing its interests in today’s election after losing its entire stance. BNP has nominated 21 Jamaat candidates to contend the 11th general elections on Sunday with its election symbol sheaf of paddy. Now the JOF chief has said that BNP’s decision to field candidates from Jamaat-e-Islami was ‘stupid.’ Now as Dr. Kamal Hossain regretted for partnering with BNP, who decided to field candidates from Jamaat-e-Islami; it seems like the children of this chief of JOF do not listen to their father, who once said that there will be no political alliance with the BNP if the party keeps Jamaat-e-Islami in the combine.
