According to newly-surfaced Hidden data discovered from iTunes, Apple is now going to allow iPhone users to actually hide the apps that come pre-installed with the phone. The new code also contains a program that can check if apps are “hideable” with the agenda of letting people hide the apps they don’t use in the near future.
However, this will allow them only hide the apps but not delete them. Which means, that the apps would still take up phone memory. Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple explained why it would not be possible to let the users erase those apps as Apple would need to rewrite the iOS code in order to integrate that program.
