A woman was killed and his husband injured as a truck hit their motorcycle at Gunali Bazaar under Tala upazila of the district on Saturday morning.
The victim was Saleha Begum, 35, wife of Masud.
Police said the accident took place on the Khulna-Pikegachha road at about 10 am when a truck hit the motorcycle leaving Saleha dead on the spot and wounding her husband Masud critically.
