Kabir Humayun: Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader yesterday said countymen have no reliance in the assorted leadership of Jatiya Oikyo Prokriya, the newly formed alliance. “Who is the leader of this alliance of 10, 20 parties? Is it possible to continue movement without a leader?” he asked while addressing an election campaign in Kabirhat upazila of Noakhali district.
Quader, also Road Transport and Bridges Minister, also mentioned BNP’s political inaction as saying, “The party is gone now after being failed to form any movement what so ever to release its chairperson Khaleda Zia from jail. What other movement can they do now for election?”
