Ghosting happens…to Recruiters too! I had a candidate accept the job last Monday. Great conversation and she was so excited. I sent her the offer letter and the background check request. On Wednesday I realized I had not received either back. I called and emailed. No answer.
On Friday I called and emailed. No answer.

By now the message is clear; however, I called again. “Would you please have the courtesy to let me know what happened?”
No answer.
It is just a small courtesy to explain what is going on. I get it! Candidates need closure from Recruiters. Guess what? Recruiters need closure too!
