Batman v Superman: dawn of justice is one of the most anticipated movie of 2016. Fans have been waiting for this movie for a couple of years. Their wait will finally be over on the 25th of March this year.
The main cast of the film are : Henry Cavill as Kal-El a.k.a Clark Kent / Superman.
Ben Affleck as Bruce Wayne / Batman.
Amy Adams as Lois Lane.
Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor.
Gal Gadot as Diana prince / Wonder Woman.
The film is directed by Zack Snyder. This will be his second film directing a superhero movie. 2013’s Man of Steel being his first. Though many of the fans have had doubt over Zack Snyder’s ability but after the official premier of the film held on the night of 20th march for very few chosen critics and personalities things have been changing. Under very uncompromising embargo they are not being able to say much other than what we already know. But everyone is ecstatic by Israeli actress Gal Gadot’s performance as the Wonder Woman. Also rumor has it that Ben Affleck also managed to steal the show. That is a very uplifting news for the movie goers. When it was first announced that Ben Affleck will be portraying Batman in the film almost everyone reacted. Many hated the idea of the Argo star playing the role of batman but some were very hopeful. Henry Cavill was set for the role of Superman since the Man of Steel. When asked if Batman v Superman was the second installment of the Man of Steel, Cavill replied saying “I wouldn’t call this a Superman sequel. This is Batman vs. Superman, so it’s a separate entity altogether. It’s introducing the Batman character, and expanding upon this universe, which was kicked off by Man of Steel. It’s an introduction to the character, and ultimately an introduction to Justice League.”
Allegedly the story of the film is partially taken from the 1986 four-issue comic book written by Frank Miller. The comic book stars a 55 year old Batman who comes back from retirement to fight crime and eventually the man of steel.
The fans have been wondering from the very beginning that why the two greatest superheroes of the DC cinematic universe should be fighting each other for. There were many speculations regarding that but the one most likely to be is that Batman and In Batman v Superman Superman is distrusted by many of the world’s governments. But it is Superman who ignites the confrontation and supposedly he was instructed by Lex Luthor! And unlike The Dark Knight Returns(the main comic), Superman comes out swinging, demolishes the Batmobile with one single super-punch. Why would Superman do as Lex Luthor tells him to? What is it that Lex is trying to accomplish from this? That would be spoiling and the whole crew of the Batman V Superman is very strictly maintaining their privacy until the movie finally comes out.
One thing is for sure that the audience will love the Wonder Woman have a blast on screen and the fight between the Dark Knight and the Man of Steel should stick to the minds of the viewers for a long time. Now we fans have nothing else to do but to wait out these few days and hope for a blast when the film comes out.
