Afrida Ahmed: A Dhaka court yesterday asked Police Bureau of Inverstiga-tion (PBI) to submit a report on investigation by August 20 in a case that was filed over the death of film actor Salman Shah, reports Daily Star. After PBI Inspector Sirajul Islam who is also an investigation officer of the case failed to submit any probe report yesterday, Metropolitan Magistrate Debabrata Biswas passed the order. Moreover, this is the fourth time PBI took time to complete the investigation in the case. A Dhaka court asked the PBI on December 7, 2016 to further investigate into the death of actor Shahriar Chowdhury Imon popularly known as Salman Shah. The court passed the order after Salman’s mother Nilufar Chowdhury filed a no-confidence petition against the order of February 10, 2015. As a result, Rapid Action Battalion (Rab) had to investigate the case.
